it would appear this week’s friday finds are all about the blues. but not in a sad or bad way, i’m actually just feeling the blue hue in its very best light, which is to say, i love the mood shades of classic blue can achieve in decor. always stylish, chic and slightly romantic. here’s hoping for a great weekend, everyone. rest up, relax and see you monday!

- the very beautiful atelier solarshop in antwerp looks like it’s well worth the trip. At any given time, there may be a pop-up shop, a restaurant, and an art gallery operating there, in addition to a regular studio workspace.
- these vintage paper patterns make my heart go pitter-pat. i’d love to turn them into fabrics and create a whole pillow collection.
- i’ve always loved this Raphael wallpaper pattern shot by @loismoreno_ via milk magazine. such a romantic treetop pattern.
- from blah to blue! need to give a room a bit of oompf? might i suggest a coat of a bold blue paint? this one looks smashing and pretty much makes this vintage dresser go from ordinary to alrighty!
- what is it about an argyle pattern that feels so playful? i love this patterned floored paired with two smashing shades of blue molding. definitely playful, and most definitely chic!
- san francisco’s new kelly wearstler designed proper hotel is a place at the very top of my “to stay” list. talk about playful! it’s over the top, but also fantastic.
- next stop, brooklyn! i’ve got my heart set on a stay at the waterfront williamsburg hotel on my next trip to new york. i’ve got a big crush on that tufted blue velvet settee!
- talk about your swoon-worthy french style, this flat in lyon is divine. if you fear painting an entire room blue, this idea of painted panels is pure perfection!
