i don’t know about you, but i’ve been seeing an awful lot of bananas around the internet these days. could bananas be the new pineapple? and not just bananas, but banana leaves, too. once again some random, somewhat mundane object in our lives gets trendy, for reasons i can’t really begin to imagine. but the imagery is pretty fun. andy warhol made it famous, and Josephine baker wore it well — here’s to a world gone bananas.
